1 portion 1 portionsstørrelse laks/ørret/fiske - filet uten skin 1,5 dl ferdig kokt spaghetti 1/2 dl purre i tynne skiver 1/2 dl squash i tynne ...

Lovesong to Lilacs

The lilacs are still blossoming some places in Oslo. I LOVE lilacs. They are the sign of spring evolving to summer, they bring the best scent, lovely color and promises of warm summer days and long, light summer nights. The bliss of warm air to the skin, bare feet on the grass, happy days in the garden. If that isn't good enough lilacs are also edible - perfect to sprinkle on top of desserts, cakes and salads for a festive look. You can even make syrup, jelly or whatever comes to your mind. Today I want to share my lilac syrup recipe. I've shared a recipe on lilac syrup earlier (maybe last year) too, but this year i changed it a bit, adedd more water and less sugar to lower the risk of the syrup becoming "sugary" or harden ...

Strawberry love

What could possibly be more summer than fresh, sweet, tasty strawberries ❤️ I love strawberries. It makes me feel summery (is that even a word?) and happy. The strawberry smell that fills my kitchen when making strawberry jam to freeze makes me think about happy days as a child, with red lips and fingers and the stomach filled with berries helping my mom and neighbors picking and cutting berries for jam, eating strawberries until we couldn't eat any more. Today I'm celebrating the end of May and start of summer and strawberry season with a yummy strawberry smoothie. This smoothie is all berries and 100% vegan too. All you need for the Strawberry smoothie For 3 servings 500 grams fresh strawberries 1 frozen banana 100 ml frozen ...
