Gresskarlua – knit woolen «pumpkin» hat 🧡free pattern

September 26, 2019 by admin Leave a Comment

Gresskarlue

Materialer (dusk er ikke inkl i garnmengden):

1 nøste (100 g) love wool by katia 100g = 50 m

Rundpinne 40 cm 10 mm

Str: luen passer en voksen

Strikk luen:

Legg opp 40 m på pinne 10.

Strikk rundt i vrangbord 1r, 1vr.

🇬🇧english:

I’m totally inspired by fall, pumpkins, soon-to-be October, warm super chunky wool and the warm, beautiful colors of this season.

So, I’ve created this super chunky woolen hat using love wool by katia. The hat is worked on needles 10mm and works up really fast. I had so much fun making mine.

Pumpkin hat:

I’ve used one skein 100g of katia love wool for the hat – not including the tassel on top. Circular needle 40 cm size 10mm.

This hat fits an adult.

Knit the hat:

Cast on 40 stitches on your circular needle 10mm.

Work rib (k1, p1) until the hat has it desired length or until there’s only 20cm left of the yarn.

Now use a large needle to thread all the stitches into the remaining tail of yarn. (Remove the needle) Pull the yarn very carefully not to break the yarn. You’ll now thread the yarn tail trough the stitches once more. Shape the top of the hat and fasten all loose ends.

Create a tassel for the top of your hat. Fasten the tassel. Now your pumpkin hat is ready for chilly fall days to come. Enjoy!
